Mission Mountain Winery is a family owned winery located on the West Shore of Flathead Lake (the largest natural fresh water lake west of the Mississippi), in Dayton Montana. There is even access to the winery by boat. It was the first bonded winery in the state of Montana. It is amazing that some of the finest wines in the world come from this small winery in northwest Montana. Tom Campbell Jr. is the man behind the winemaking. Following the wisdom of his father Tom Sr., Tom Jr. attended the world renown University of California at Davis School of Enology and Viticulture (winemaking and vineyards). Mission Mountain Winery wines have met with excellent acceptance by Montana residents and visitors to the winery from all 50 States and 30 Foreign Countries. Our wines have received international recognition winning over 150 medals. Current international gold medal winners include Malbec, Merlot, Riesling and Monster Red. We encourage you to come enjoy this Montana treasure. Open May 1st to Oct 31st seven days a week 10-5. "We toast your good taste!"

Built in 1938, the city owned John Dowdall Theatre has been renovated and is maintained by the non-profit organization, Mission Valley Friends of the Arts (MVFA). Under a twenty year lease with the city of Polson, the MVFA has an agreement with the Port Polson Players, to serve as caretakers for the facility. Neal and Karen Lewing, managing and artistic directors for the Players, also serve as secretarial and administrative directors for the MVFA. All fund raising drives for MVFA, follow up, publicity, building maintenance, contracted renovation, grant assistance, accountability and facilitation are conducted by the Lewings, on behalf of "The Friends". MVFA doesn't pay them for these services. They trade use of the facility to produce theatre.
