11-09-2015 ~ PARADE OF LIGHTS
The Polson Business Community would like to invite entries for the new Lake County Parade of Lights to be held Friday, December 4, to sign up now.  "If it moves and it is lighted it's an entry". Churches, non-profits, schools, civic organizations, carolers, entertainers, etc are invited to participate along the sidewalks on Friday, Dec 4 from 4-6 and Saturday, Dec 5 from 12-4.  To reserve your space at no charge call 883-3667 and leave a message for Evonne.

11-09-2015 ~ FALL MACK DAYS
The Confederated Salish & Kootenai Tribes will be sponsoring the 2015 Fall Mack Days on Flathead Lake with up to $150,000 in cash and prizes.  It will run September 25 - November 15 on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.  A fish fry for participants and their families will be held November 15 at 3PM at Blue Bay with the award ceremony at 4PM. New this year is Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday will be bonus days, which also includes tagged fish.  For more information call 406-883-2888 Ex 7294.

The Nook invites you to join them for their annual Thanksgiving Day Buffet Thursday, November 26th from 11am to 4pm.  Buffet includes all the traditional Thanksgiving Fixings. Adults $24, Seniors $20, Kids $16.  For more information call the KwaTaqNuk at 883-3636

The Polson Senior Citizens' Center invites the community to join them for a Polson Community Thanksgiving Dinner, Thursday, November 26th, 2015 from 11am-2pm.  The Public is welcome join in food, fellowship, and entertainment. Dinner is FREE, but donations are gratefully accepted. For those who need a ride, please call the Senior Center by 3pm Wednesday, November 25th, 883-4735.  If you are unable to join us for dinner, please place your home delivery orders by 3pm Wednesday, November 25th, at 883-4735.  This community dinner is sponsored and coordinated by Polson Senior Citizens' Center and Polson Ministerial Association's Helping Hands Fund.

The 8th Annual Polson Turkey Trot 5K Fun Run/Walk will be held Thursday, November 26th at 9AM.  Start and finish at Century 21 Big Sky Real Estate (on the corner of Hwy 93 and Hwy 35). We will run a rice course down Hwy 35 and around Mission Bay. Runners and walkers of all ages are welcome.   Registration opens at 8AM and cost is $5 with the proceeds to benefit Polson Loaves & Fishes. See website for more details at 

This free event held at the Mission Mountain Winery located on Highway 93 in Dayton, Montana on the west shore of beautiful Flathead Lake on Friday and Saturday,  November 27 and 28, 2015 from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM, is part of the Winery's continuing program to educate the community about the pleasurable synergies created by the pairing of food and wine.  We will show you how to pair holiday foods with wines.  Come try  special meatballs in spicy Cabernet sauce, Chana Batata Curry with Riesling, cheesecake drizzled with Cocoa Vin and Almond biscotti and Nouveaux Riche Muscat and 72% dark chocolate with our Gold medal winning Reserve Merlot and the Gold medal winning Cabernet.
