CASA program is a non-profit organization recognized by our court system to provide advocacy services for children who have been abused and neglected, and removed from their homes. CASA of Lake & Sanders Counties recruits, trains and assists volunteers to advocate for the best interests of these children. While our advocates donate their time, energy and resources, there are administrative costs necessary to maintain our office and to pay staff to train and assist these volunteers. At any point in time, we maintain approximately 20 volunteer advocates and serve approximately 80 abused and neglected children. Our judges say that our advocates are the “eyes and ears” for abused and neglected children because many times the advocates are the only ones visiting the children regularly. Ultimately, our advocates make recommendations to the court to help improve these children’s lives.
We are asking you to consider CASA of Lake & Sanders Counties when extending your donations and support. We ask this just once a year — at our annual CASA Golf Scramble held in Polson. At the upcoming golf scramble, scheduled for April 21, 2018, you can advertise your business, register a 4-person golf team, and/or purchase raffle tickets to win a free golf membership at Polson Bay Golf Course. You can also help to advertise this fundraising event by posting the enclosed flyers at your business.
Please feel free to contact us to be a part of this important cause. This is an opportunity like none other to make a real difference in the future of the children who have been abused and neglected.
We look forward to partnering with you.
