CELEBRATE THE SEASON OF LIGHT
The Envision Polson Beautification Committee invites you to nominate what you think "Best" embodies the joy of the season through our "Celebrate the Season of Light" decoration contest. Nominate yourself or your neighbor in one of the following categories: Best Business; Best Residence: Best Church: Best All One Color; or Best Multiple Colors. Contest boundaries include Polson city limits along Hwy 35 to Fulkerson Corner and along Rocky Point Road to Kings Point turn off. Nomination forms can be picked up at the Polson Chamber of Commerce office or download here or drop off entries at the Polson Chamber from 10-2pm at 418 Main Street by Friday, December 16, 2016. Judging commences on December 17 based on the criteria of originality, overall appearance and best use of lights. "Best of Show" winners will be announced in local papers and by telephone. PARADE OF LIGHTS
Polson's annual Parade of Lights will be held Friday, December 2nd at 6:30PM.  There will be the lighting of the downtown Christmas Tree along with the arrival of Santa.  The stores will be open until 7 Friday for the Downtown Open House

REMEMBERING PEARL HARBOR ATTACK
The Miracle of America Museum will remember the fateful day of December 7, 1941 with its permanent and poignant exhibits of WWII and the attack on Pearl Harbor.  The public is invited to a free program starting at 6PM.  There will be a slideshow, a song, a tribute wall/exhibit viewing and showing of the movie, "Tora!Tora!Tora!" FREE NIGHT AT THE MUSEUM
The monthly free "Night at the Museum" takes place on every fourth Thursday evening at 6:30PM.    It is held at the Miracle of America Museum at 36094 Memory Lane on December 22. We will sing Christmas carols, have a reading of the Christmas story and show Mr Krueger's Christmas starring Jimmy Stewart.
