SPRING MACK DAYS
The Confederated Salish & Kootenai Tribes will be sponsoring the 2016 Spring Mack Days on Flathead Lake with up to $225,000 in cash and prizes.  It will run March 18th thru May 15th.  A fish fry for participants and their families will be held May 15 at 3PM at Blue Bay with the award ceremony at 4PM.  For more information call 406-883-2888 Ex 7294.

The "Community Bird Day Festival" is planned for Thursday, May 5 from 4:30-7:30PM at Salish Kootenai College. Opening ceremony at the Arlee/Charlo Theater. The Yellow Bay Community's annual Flathead Lake Cherry Blossom Festival will be held on Saturday, May 14, 2016 from 10AM to 4PM at the Yellow Bay Club house on Hwy 35, mile marker 18.  Free fun for the whole family. The 2nd annual Ladies Day Out vendor event will be held at the Polson Elks Lodge on Sunday, June 12 from 10AM-4PM.  All proceeds from booth rentals will be donated to Lynette Duford for Life Savers Animal Rescue.  The event is free admission and open to the public with over 20 vendors selling.  Donations will also be accepted for dog beds, toys (kongs/rope or just any without stuffing) water and feed dishes for dogs or cats, pet potty pads or anything else dog/cat related that LSAR could use.

Please join us for the July 4th Parade in downtown Polson beginning at Noon.  Parade entry forms are available at the Chamber office or Click Here to open registration form Entry forms must be returned to the Polson Chamber office by July 3rd. The parade will begin at Cherry Valley Elementary School, Head down Main Street, turning at 3rd Ave and ending on the following block. 2ND ANNUAL POKER PADDLE
The Flathead Lakers present the 2nd Annual Poker Paddle presented by Glacier Bank to be held Sunday, July 10 from 1-6PM. Cost is $50. Early bird registration by May 31 gets a $5.00 discount.  Players must be at least 18 years old.  Limited to the first 150 paddle craft so bring your kayak, canoe, paddleboard or other human propelled watercraft and paddle a 3.6 mile course, collecting cards along the way! All proceeds go to the Flathead Lakers Student Education Program and community work to support clean water. ROTARY CHILI COOK OFF
The annual Rotary Chili Cook off will be held Saturday, August 27 from 10AM-2:30PM. Make sure you purchase your raffle tickets to help the Jr golf program.  Tickets are only $25 each or 5 for $100.  There are 6 prizes to choose from: $1000 in cash, $1000 in groceries, $1000 in gas, 300-350 lbs of cut beef, a wine cellar of a minimum of 60 bottles of wine or two 2016 season golf passes to Polson Bay Golf Course. Chapter 1122 of the Experimental Aircraft Association (EAA) will be hosting the 18th Annual Polson Fly-In at the Polson Airport on Saturday, September 10th and admission is FREE!  The public is invited to join pilots for an exciting day of aviation activities, beginning with a pancake breakfast at 8AM.
