SANDPIPER ART GALLERY OPEN SHOW
The Sandpiper Art Gallery's first open show of 2015 opens Monday, April 6 and runs through Saturday, May 16.  The "R" In Art is a non-jurried show open to all artists.  There is a small entry fee for non Sandpiper member artists.  For more information call the Gallery at 883-5956.

CLEAN UP! GREEN UP!
The Beautification Committee of Envision Polson! is planning the annual community wide clean up on Friday, April 24 from 9AM-5PM.  This year they hope to make it more "user friendly" and this is a community effort.  As you all know, the first step to having a beautiful, welcoming community is to have it trash free.  Headquarters will be located at the North Lake County Public Library to pick up trash bags, gloves & assignment areas for clean up.   Following clean up there will be a no host gathering at Glacier Brewing Company at 5PM. For more information call 406-849-5288. Something new added this year is junk car pickup! Tracy Burland of Tracy's Auto & Marine will pay $50 per vehicle and haul away.  Call 406-261-6592 for date and time.

We all love this community and now that winter is almost over it's time to get rid of the papers, trash and things that have been lurking under the snow. The Clean Up Green Up headquarters will be located at the North Lake County Public Library sun room. RELAY FOR LIFE RAFFLE
Providence St Joseph Hospital has a raffle to benefit Relay for Life. Raffle: 4-18 hole golf passes with cart at Polson Bay Grocery. 2-18 hole golf passes with cart to Whitefish Lake Golf club. A pair of Danskos from Jackie M's Footwear in Polson. A hand-made table doily from a St. Joseph employee. Tickets are $5. Drawing held after the Spring Trades Fair, April 25th.

ANNUAL RED WINE AND CHOCOLATE EVENT
Mission Mountain Winery annual event Red Wine and Chocolate will be Saturday May 2nd from 10am to 5pm. This is a chance for visitors to learn about the food and wine pairings of various chocolate delights and their corresponding red wines. This free event is a part of the winery's continuing program to educate the community about the pleasurable synergies created by the pairing of food and wine. Come try out the chocolate fountain and the numerous chocolate treats with our most recent international gold medal winning red wines, 2008 Merlot Reserve and 2009 Monster Red. ART AUCTION & GALA
The Annual Art Auction and Gala for the SKC Student Foundation is on Saturday, May 2 at the KwaTaqNuk Resort.  The event begins at 5:30PM with a reception, silent auction and a live auction preview.  At 6:30PM dinner, the live auction and the student Fashion Show will take place.  Tickets are $50 or $75 for couple.  For more information call 406-275-4983.

Providence St Joseph Medical Center is sponsoring a Mother's Day Fun Run/Walk on Saturday, May 9.  Registration is at 8AM and the race starts at 9 in front of St Joe's on 13th Ave West.  Pick up your registration form at the front desk.  Prior to May 1 a family of 3 or more is $25, individuals are $8.  After May 6 a family is $40 and individual is $20.  All proceeds go to Relay for Life.  For more information call 883-8275.
