PROGRAM NIGHT AT THE MUSEUM
In remembrance of Armed Forces Day, Miracle of America Museum will show "WWII in Color" a digitally restored film of actual footage showing the real brutality of the war on Thursday, May 26 beginning at 6:30PM.  Not recommended for young children.  Time permitting there will be a museum tour of artifacts like those seen in the movie.  Treats and donations are accepted.  For more information call Gil at 883-6804.

A "Dramady" about loving your neighbor in spite of political corruption "Who's John Doe?" opens the Port Polson Players 41st season at the John Dowdall Theatre. FLATHEAD LAKE ROCK SKIPPING CHAMPIONSHIP
The 2016 Flathead Lake Rock Skipping Championship will crown a Montana State Rock Skipping Record Holder on Saturday, May 28th at the Riverside Park Dock in Polson. This one of its kind event (in Montana) will find locals and visitors pitted against each other and more importantly, physics. Make no mistake, this isn’t an event of brute force; rather the Flathead Lake Rock Skipping Championship is an event that showcases finesse, touch and fun! Bring Your Own Rocks (B.Y.O.R.) to this family focused event and bound on down to Polson for skipping and laughs. Registration begins Saturday May 28th at 9:00 AM at Cove Deli & Pizza. 2ND ANNUAL LADIES DAY OUT
The 2nd annual Ladies Day Out vendor event will be held at the Polson Elks Lodge on Sunday, June 12 from 10AM-4PM.  All proceeds from booth rentals will be donated to Lynette Duford for Life Savers Animal Rescue.  The event is free admission and open to the public with over 20 vendors selling.  Donations will also be accepted for dog beds, toys (kongs/rope or just any without stuffing) water and feed dishes for dogs or cats, pet potty pads or anything else dog/cat related that LSAR could use.

Data and Donuts: Summer Seminar Series. The Flathead Lake Biological Station (FLBS) will host a presentation on Monday, June 13, 2016 from 10 to 11 AM. The presentation is titled "Trout in Hot Water? JULY 4 PARADE
Please join us for the July 4th Parade in downtown Polson beginning at Noon.  Parade entry forms are available at the Chamber office or Click Here to open registration form Entry forms must be returned to the Polson Chamber office by July 3rd. The parade will begin at Cherry Valley Elementary School, Head down Main Street, turning at 3rd Ave and ending on the following block. The Flathead Lakers present the 2nd Annual Poker Paddle presented by Glacier Bank to be held Sunday, July 10 from 1-6PM. Cost is $50. Early bird registration by May 31 gets a $5.00 discount.  Players must be at least 18 years old.  Limited to the first 150 paddle craft so bring your kayak, canoe, paddleboard or other human propelled watercraft and paddle a 3.6 mile course, collecting cards along the way! This 3-on-3 basketball tournament is played in the streets of downtown Polson,  July 22th - 24th 2016 just a slam dunk away from beautiful Flathead Lake.  Please join us for one of the most fun and popular athletic events in Montana. The annual Rotary Chili Cook off will be held Saturday, August 27 from 10AM-2:30PM. Make sure you purchase your raffle tickets to help the Jr golf program.  Tickets are only $25 each or 5 for $100.  There are 6 prizes to choose from: $1000 in cash, $1000 in groceries, $1000 in gas, 300-350 lbs of cut beef, a wine cellar of a minimum of 60 bottles of wine or two 2016 season golf passes to Polson Bay Golf Course.
