SPRING MACK DAYS
The Confederated Salish & Kootenai Tribes will be sponsoring the 2014 Spring Mack Days on Flathead Lake with up to $150,000 in cash and prizes.  It will run March 14th thru May 18th on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays with May 9th thru May 18th being ten consecutive fishing days.  A fish fry for participants and their families will be held May 18 at 3PM at Blue Bay with the award ceremony at 4PM.  For more information call 406-883-2888 Ex 7294.

RONAN EASTER EGG HUNT
Mission Mountain Enterprises invites you to the 20th Annual Ronan Community Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, April 19 at Ronan City Park at 11AM Sharp. Age groups from 0-12 years old.  Please bring your own container to collect eggs.  The Easter Bunny will be available at the Park for pictures, free of charge.  For more information call 406-676-2727.

NATIONAL PARKS FREE ENTRANCE
Entrance fees to  Glacier National Park, as well as other units of the National Park Service, will be waived on April 19-20 in commemoration of the first weekend of National Park Week.

The Polson Community Easter Egg Hunt brought to you by Alpha Upsilon chapter of Beta Sigma Phi will take place at Boettcher Park on Saturday, April 19 at 9AM sharp.  Children will be grouped by age from babies up to fourth grade.

Boardwalk Outdoor Café will be OPEN for the Easter Egg Hunt in Boettcher Park on Saturday, April 19th! We will be selling Cotton Candy, Hot Chocolate, and Coffee! We hope to have the Boardwalk Outdoor Café painted so please come check out our new look! "Like" us on Facebook or (if you already have) "Rate" us for a change to win a large Chocolate Easter Bunny! EASTER COMES TO WALMART
Saturday, April 19 from 10-2 there will be a free kids carnival, train rides, a DJ, free photo of your child with the Easter bunny and all day bake sale at the Polson Walmart sponsored by Nancy's Kids.  A BBQ will be held with the proceeds to go to a local veteran.  For more information contact Nancy at 871-9784 or 885-5504.

BURGERVILLE DAY
The Mayor has proclaimed Sunday, April 20th as Burgerville Day!  They will be celebrating their 52nd Anniversary so make sure you stop by and register April 18, 19 and 21 to win a $52 gift certificate with your meal purchase on Friday, Saturday and Monday.  They will be closed on Easter Sunday.  Drawings will be held nightly.

FORKLIFT TRAINING

"STEPPING ON" WORKSHOP
St Joseph Medical Center is holding "Stepping On", a falls prevention program.  This class meets for 2 hours a week for seven weeks starting Tuesday, April 15.  It aims to reduce the more than 1/3 of adults 65 or older who fall each year. This course has been shown to reduce fall risk by up to 30 percent. Cost is $30 for seven week class. To register or to get more information call Stephanie at (406) 883-8453.

EAA CHAPTER 1122 MEETING
The Experimental Aircraft Association Chapter 1122 in Polson will hold the April meeting at 6:30PM on Wednesday, April 23 at the Polson airport.  This meeting is a planned potluck social and open to anyone interested in aviation.   Everyone is asked to bring a side dish, salad or dessert, burgers will be provided by the chapter.  The guest speaker will be Keith Urbach on "Supporting Air Force One".  Hope to see you there.

Pre-registration closes Thursday, April 24 for the annual Women4Wellness 5K/1 mile walk/run hosted by the Center for Prevention & Wellness. Fees for adults 18+ is $24 long sleeved, $18 T-shirt or $10 for no shirt. Youth 6-17 $14 T-shirt, $8 no shirt and under 5 are free. PFI ANNUAL COWBOY BALL, BANQUET & AUCTION
Polson Fairgrounds, Inc 24th Annual Cowboy Ball, Dinner and Auction will be held Friday, April 25 under the Big Tent at the Polson Fairgrounds.  No host cocktails and silent auction at 5:30, dinner at 6:30, live auction at 7:30 with dancing to follow featuring Southern Comfort Band.  Tickets are $40 and includes one free beer or glass of wine.   Proceeds to benefit Fairground improvement and your donations are tax deductible.  They are seeking donations any type-large or small for the Silent and Live Auction. TRADES FAIR AND BUSINESS EXPO
Anderson Radio Broadcasting, Inc presents the Mission Valley Trades Fair and Business Expo with vendors from all over to be held at Polson High School. This has been an annual event for over 20 years. This year it is "All About the Kids". The Nesting Place, at Providence St Joseph Medical Center, is holding their 2nd annual "Baby Fair" on Saturday, April 26 from 9AM-1PM at the first floor lobby. There will be several raffle prizes so if you are having a baby, recently had a baby or planning to have a baby, don't miss this event.

CASA GOLF SCRAMBLE
The 9th Annual CASA of Lake County Golf Scramble, hosted by Mick Holien will be held Saturday,  April 26 at Polson Bay Golf Course. Registration and breakfast at 8AM with a 10AM shotgun start. This is an 18 hole four person scramble. Entry fee $260 per team or $60 for individual.  Proceeds go directly to CASA of Lake Country. CLEAN UP! GREEN UP!
The Beautification Committee of Envision Polson! is planning the annual community wide clean up on Friday, May 2 from 9AM-5PM.  This year they hope to make it more "user friendly" and this is a community effort.  As you all know, the first step to having a beautiful, welcoming community is to have it trash free.  Headquarters will be located at the North Lake County Public Library to pick up trash bags, gloves & assignment areas for clean up.  Sign up for 4 great raffle drawing prizes! Following clean up there will be a no host gathering at Glacier Brewing Company at 5PM.

RED WINE AND CHOCOLATE
Stop by the Mission Mountain Winery on Saturday, May 3 from 10AM-5PM for their annual Red Wine and Chocolate event. This is a chance for visitors to learn about the food and wine pairings of various chocolate delights and their corresponding red wines. This free annual event is a part of the winery's continuing program to educate the community about the pleasurable synergies created by the pairing of food and wine. Come try out the chocolate fountain and the numerous chocolate treats with our most recent international gold medal winning red wines, 2008 Merlot Reserve and 2009 Monster Red. BIG PRODUCTIONS OFF-SERIES CONCERT
Big Productions, is going A Cappella in May.  The Montana A Cappella Society will perform on Saturday, May 3 at the Ronan Performing Arts Center and will include a relaxing evening of music, featuring songs from the 1600's to modern classics, all presented A Cappella.  The artists will also showcase a special tribute to our Armed Forces.  Tickets are $12 in advance and $14 at the door.  All youth under 18 are admitted free, however children under 12 must be accompanied by a ticket holding adult.For more information call Brittany at 406-676-2427.
