CHAMBER UNCORKED
Please join us for the Polson Chamber's inaugural Wine Tasting event, Chamber Uncorked, September 20th from 6pm-9pm at the Polson KOA.  Tickets are $45 each and are available at the Polson Chamber office.  We will be serving more than 20 wines, local and regional varieties, hand selected by our friends at The Terrace.  Delicious hors d'oeuvres will be catered by the amazing crew at Finley Point Grill.  Live music provided by Nathan Eyre.  Please call the Chamber of Commerce for tickets or more info.  883-5969.

FREE SHOOTING DAY
The Polson Shooters Association is sponsoring a free Shooting Day at the Polson Rifle/Pistol Range at 38386 Kerr Dam Road on Saturday, September 20 from 9AM to 5PM.  This is an OPEN TO THE PUBLIC DAY. Come check out the range, site in your rifle for the hunting season.  Free hot dogs and hamburgers will be available.  For more information call Rob at 883-1110.

"RED SKIES OF MONTANA" AT THE MIRACLE OF AMERICA MUSEUM
"Red Skies of Montana" a 1952 feature length movie based on the 1949 tragic Mann Gulch fire will be shown.  A short tour of smoke jumper related artifacts in the museum collection will precede the film.  Program begins at 6:30pm, for more info call Gil at 883-6804.

SAFE HARBOR ART AUCTION
Each year, SAFE Harbor has its Annual Art Auction and Celebration when community partners from across the region share their creations, talents and services to help raise awareness and financial support. SAFE Harbor has the only shelter between Missoula and Kalispell, while also providing legal assistance, crisis intervention, counseling, transportation, outreach, education and housing support. Last year SAFE Harbor assisted more than 1,000 primary and secondary clients while also providing over 5500 shelter nights. This year’s event is October 11th at the Ronan Community Center. At the gala both a live and silent auction take place with original artwork, jewelry, quilts, pottery, carving, sculptures and photography. Special baskets are also auctioned that include lodging, movie passes, theater tickets, concert tickets, travel, dishware, dinner coupons, service vouchers and a variety of other house wares. SAFE Harbor is currently seeking sponsorships, auction items and those who might be interested in serving as a table captain.
