SPRING MACK DAYS
The Confederated Salish & Kootenai Tribes will be sponsoring the 2016 Spring Mack Days on Flathead Lake with up to $225,000 in cash and prizes.  It will run March 18th thru May 15th.  A fish fry for participants and their families will be held May 15 at 3PM at Blue Bay with the award ceremony at 4PM.  For more information call 406-883-2888 Ex 7294.

NIGHT AT THE MUSEUM
The Miracle of America Museum provide a Free Night at the Museum every 4th Thursday of each month.  The next program will be April 28 beginning at 6:30.  The subject will be "Common Sense, Self and Home Defense". A panel of knowledgeable folks from several different backgrounds will cover various aspects of protecting life, limb and property. For more information call Gil at 406-270-7895.  Donations and treats are welcome.

CLEAN UP! GREEN UP!
Polson community will be having a clean-up event on Friday, April 29 thru Sunday, May 1.  The information and supply center will be located at North Lake County Library where you may pick up trash bags, gloves & be assigned areas for cleanup.

RED WINE & CHOCOLATE
The Mission Mountain Winery will be hosting their annual "Red Wine and Chocolate" event on Saturday, April 30 from 10AM to 5PM.  This free event is a part of the winery's continuing program to educate the community about the pleasurable synergies created by pairing of food and wine.  A splendid time is guaranteed for all. MISSION VALLEY ANIMAL SHELTER DOG CLASSES
Learn more about dog behavior and your relationship with your best friend at the Free monthly classes offered by the Mission Valley Animal Shelter.  This month "Loose Leash Walking" will be offered from 2-3PM on Saturday, April 30th.  Open to ages 8+.  For more information contact Jill at 883-5312.

MISSION VALLEY TRADES FAIR AND BUSINESS EXPO
Anderson Broadcasting presents the Mission Valley Trades Fair and Business Expo with over 100 vendors with food, fun and information. SPRING MUSIC FESTIVAL
The Spring Music Festival sponsored by the Polson Ministerial Association is scheduled for 4PM on Sunday, May 1 at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Polson.  A spaghetti supper will be served following the festival in the church basement.  This concert is held to support the Polson Ministerial Association Helping Hands Fund which provides emergency assistance to Lake County residents as well as folks traveling through the area.  For more information contact Valerie at 883-4160.

The "Community Bird Day Festival" is planned for Thursday, May 5 from 4:30-7:30PM at Salish Kootenai College. Opening ceremony at the Arlee/Charlo Theater. Lake County Job Service Employers Committee is hosting "Saddle Up for Service" workshop on Friday, May 6, 8AM to Noon at Red Lion Hotel. MOTHER'S DAY FUN RUN/WALK
Providence St Joseph Medical Center will be sponsoring a Mother's Day Mile & Sky Line Challenge Fun Run/Walk on Saturday, May 14 with registration at 8AM and 9AM Race Start from the front of St Joseph Medical Center on 13th Ave W. Glacier Bank will be sponsoring their annual Community After-tax Shred Day on Friday, May 20 at 50510 Hightway 93 from 9AM-1PM. The mobile shred truck will be on location at the main Glacier Bank to shred your personal documents for free shredding (limit 2 boxes per person).

CHAMBER BLAST
The Polson Chamber of Commerce Annual 'CHAMBER BLAST' will be held on Saturday, June 25 at Big Sky Sporting Clays. We will start will a quick beginner's shooting clinic, followed by a shooter's safety briefing prior to the Sporting Clays Tournament. BBQ Lunch and Awards Ceremony from 12:30-1:30. Cost: $110 per Shooter, $330 per 3 person team. Bring Shotgun, Eye Protection, Ear Protection. No experience necessary!! 2ND ANNUAL POKER PADDLE
The Flathead Lakers present the 2nd Annual Poker Paddle to be held Sunday, July 10, 2016 from 1PM-6PM. Cost is $50. Early bird registration by May 31, 2016 gets a $5.00 discount.  Players must be at least 18 years old.  All proceeds go to the Flathead Lakers Student Education Program and community work to support clean water.
