Landscape of Peace: The Power of Goodwill
10am-8pm A free, family all-day event at the Garden beginning with the 8th Walk-A-Mile for Peace at 9:30am-11am. REGISTER to walk, or donate to another walker, or just come on the day of the event or walk virtually from anywhere in the world in solidarity of peace. Then the fest run from 11am-8pm, featuring guest speakers, live music and dancing, and food vendors and arts and crafts and service vendors. This intercultural FREE event is open to all. Guest speakers include Namchak Khen Rinpoche, Lama Tsomo, Betsy Mulligan-Dague of JRPC, Mayor John Engen, Stephen Small Salmon, and Gamelan music by Manik Harum, Kirtan by Cami Coté, Jenn Adams, Andrea Harsell, Tahj Kjelland and Sweatshop Sneakers, Joan Zen and Andre Floyd. With salsa dancing by Rueda de Montana. A FREE, family, interfaith and intercultural event open to all!
